

First Second tells the story of two solitary figures - one aboard a never-stopping train, the other waiting endlessly at a forgotten desert station - whose worlds collide when the impossible happens: the train stops. In the wreckage of silence, they draw from one another the first moment of change, the first second of time that truly matters.

We formed a group to travel in Chengdu and research the highly acclaimed and financial juggernaut that is Nezha 2. Meeting with the animation companies and interviewing professors on the production and impact that this film has had in China, followed by pandas, art exhibitions and a whole lot of hotpot!

Given the theme of fortitude, here we see what the delegates get up to after a long day of stimulating and fruitful discussions: playing games, enjoying the local culture, and making friends at the beach in the wonderful tropical island of Hainan.

As part of the film course I'm in with NYFA, I had to make a short film inspired by Hitchcock's Psycho. Considering I had recently bought myself a drone, I figured this was the perfect opportunity to use it. This film is made almost entirely using that drone.
Impressionistic reflections on a man's life in the final moments before complete oblivion. Flashes of his love appear before him, but his deteriorating mind burns the final fragments, plunging him into golden dreams as his life washes away forever.
A film about the elements – hurricanes and rain, the sea and the earth. About a fishing port on the north coast of Cuba which has seen better days: Caibarién, where Hurricane Irma – one of the most powerful ever to sweep the Caribbean – made landfall on 9th September 2017.
About the effects of climate across the centuries in a Caribbean island sucked into global markets for its commodity crops – tobacco, coffee and above all, sugar. How sugar changed the landscape, through deforestation and soil exhaustion.
About the collapse of sugar and the encroachment of a new commodity market – tourism.
