British Coast - Stage 052 - Hastings to Eastbourne
10 May 2025. A long shingle coast, from Hastings all the way to Eastbourne. And in the main, built on, with its string of resort towns. St Leonards, Bulverhythe, Bexhill, Norman’s Bay, Pevensey Bay, and the spreading urban bulk of Eastbourne itself – preceded by the new marina complex of Sovereign Harbour. Eastbourne’s beach, promenade and pier full of the mainstream pleasures of the seaside. 17 miles. (Total walked, 780 miles – 42 of those in Sussex).
