Never taking anything for granted, Amaurea’s resident editor and designer, Albarrojo, has embarked on an ambitious project to walk the entire coast of Britain: to prove to himself that he really is on an island. In the process, he has set about photographing what he sees. But, busy as he is with so many other projects and commitments – not to mention legs that start to rebel when overused – he is doing it gradually, as he is able. How long it will take him to complete, he has no idea – but finding the experience a compelling one, he intends to persevere.

As a first step towards turning this project into something a bit more tangible, we will be posting here the best of the images that Albarrojo takes on his journey.
